Risk of Gallstones increased in Men during weight loss cycle

Hi friends, yesterday i read a news about weight loss . It was suggested that gallstones risk may increases in men during their life cycle of weight loss. During weight loss cycle rapidly decrease in weight and after that regaining weight may cause gallstones risk. According to the article Gallstone disease is common amoung men in western countries. This disease occurs when a solid mass of cholesterol, bile and calcium salts forms in the gall bladder. Obesity is a risk factor for gallstone disease because in weight loss program rapidly losing weight may be harmful for body because after some time the body regained their weight and finally it may cause gallstones disease. In USA amoung 30% of adults want to loose weight rapidly and they undergoes weight loss treatment for rapid weight loss. According to news author "intentional weight loss is rarely sustained and is often associated with unintentional weight regain, leading to weight cycling,". He also said ""The long-term health consequences of repeated intentional weight loss and the mechanisms of weight recovery are still not well understood. Studies have suggested that large weight fluctuations at some point earlier in life represent an independent risk factor for chronic diseases, including metabolic syndrome." In a survey it was found that there are 1,222 cases of symptomatic gallstones developed between year 1992 and 2002. The author also write "The potential mechanisms contributing to the association between weight cycling and gallstone formation observed in our study are likely to be multiple,". So if u want to loose weight without cause any side effects than you concentrate on permanent weight loss methods and programs.

For living a healthy life we must reduce our extra pounds. Extra body weight is bad for health because it cause another diseases like diabetes and blood pressure. Lose weight in Christmas holidays

Hi friends, we all know that people may gain weight in holidays. In USA and other countries people enjoy very much in Christmas holidays. In their enjoyment they go to parties, clubs and make their schedule very busy. Therefore mostly people have no time for dieting and exercise. They also have no time to care their health and body weight. According to weight loss experts mostly people gain weight in these days due to busy schedule. But if we follow some weight loss tips or you can say weight loss advice which is suggested by weight loss experts in their weight loss information articles, we will not gain weight in these days. There are some important steps that we should follow:

First weight loss tips is before heading to a party or a big meal, eat a toasted whole-wheat bagel or a bowl of oatmeal -- it makes people feel fuller longer.

Second weight loss tip is drinking a tall glass of ice water along with your holiday feast -- it leaves less room for eggnog and stuffing.

Third weight loss tip is at an all-you-can-eat affair, fill up on vegetables first, then stand or sit a good distance from the table.

Exercise reduce snoring in obese children

Hi friends, today i read a news about weight loss information in which exercise is explained for reducing children weight. It was suggested that exercise can reduce snoring among overweight children, even if it doesn't result in weight loss, a new study shows.

Snoring is associated with poor sleep quality, which can lead to learning and behavioral problems that are often mistaken for disorders such as ADHD, Dr. Catherine L. Davis of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta noted in an interview with Reuters Health.

Furthermore, prescribing stimulant ADHD drugs, like Ritalin, to kids who aren't sleeping well will only make matters worse, she added. What's more, while obesity is known to make snoring more likely, she added, there's growing evidence that sleep disorders can contribute to a greater risk of being overweight.

To investigate whether exercise might reduce sleep-disordered breathing among overweight kids, Davis and her team randomly assigned 100 overweight children between 7 and 11 years old to 13 weeks of "high-dose" exercise (40 minutes every school day), "low-dose" exercise (20 minutes), or to a control group that did not perform any additional exercise.

The workouts consisted of games like basketball and tag, but unlike traditional PE classes, Davis noted, there was no standing around waiting to play or be picked -- children were on the move for the entire session.

At the beginning of the study, parents of one quarter of the kids reported that their children had symptoms, such as snoring and inattention, serious enough to indicate a problem. Just 2 percent of all children are thought to have sleep-disordered breathing, Davis and her colleagues note in the current issue of the journal Obesity.

By the close of the program, half of the children who snored and were assigned to one of the exercise groups had stopped snoring. Greater improvements were seen among the high-dose exercisers. However, weight, fatigue and behavior did not change.

Exercise alone is generally not enough to help people lose weight, Davis noted, although it does help people become more fit. It's possible that the workouts helped reduce the fat surrounding the neck area that can lead to collapse of the airway during sleep, she added, while exercise may also have had metabolic or neurological effects that made the brain, nerves and muscles better able to maintain an open airway.

To get the same amount of exercise in the real world, the children would probably need to exercise for an hour each day, Davis said. Parents may do well to send their kids out for some exercise right after school, she suggested -- letting kids burn off pent up energy might make them better able to do their homework afterwards.

Hi friends, yesterday i read a news about weight loss information. In that news it was suggested that the vegetarian people loose more weight as compared to non-veg people after doing exercise and dieting. The results was found by researchers in which the people who stuck to a vegetarian diet for at least one year lost more weight than those on a standard low-fat diet. Another good news for vegetarian people is that their levels of LDL "bad" cholesterol dropped after six months on the vegetarian diet. If you want to reduce weight and leave healthy life than it was suggested that you eat more fresh vegetables and fruits instead of meat and fast food. Oily food also increase body fat so if you want to reduce weight and make your body slim and smart than eat only non oily food. On the internet there are various resources for weight loss information and you can provide information from there.

Hi friends, yesterday i read a news about oldest method of weight loss called "Ear Stapling". It was suggested that a surgical staple is place in both ears near the acupuncture point of the stomach. The continuous pressure sends a signal to the brain which tells the stomach that it is full. The staples are removed after six months. A one month resting period takes place and then a new staples can be put in.

Hi friends, today i read a news about a  brazilian super model named "Ana Carolina Reston" who dies after reducing her weight. She was 23 years old and have worked in modeling since 13 years. According to a report she ate only tomatoes and apples at the end of her life. She was 5 feet 8 inches tall and starved herself down to 88 pounds. The main reason of her dies is that she loose excess weight from her body. Due to this happened also in past times the Madrid's fashion week which organised in september had banned models considered dangerously thin from catwalk shows. because according to their view the model will not tried to make excess thin. This also ban in spain because of a 22-year-old Brazilan model Luisel Ramos died of a heart attack moments after stepping off a catwalk. For safe the life of models now the fashion show organiser check the body mass index of all models by appointing a doctor and if they found BMI too low than they came out those models.  in this manner the Models auditioning for Madrid Fashion Week are now examined by doctors and those with a body mass index (BMI) that is too low are off the runway and do not get participate in fashion show. Models in Madrid need to have a BMI of 18 or higher to work there. As we all know that overweight is a dangerous for life but low weight is more dangerous than other.

Acomplia - good news for obese people in sweden

Hi friends, yesterday i read a news about a latest weight loss drug acomplia. It was suggested that the diet drug acomplia is ready for sale in sweden. The reimbursement approval, granted by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Board, is the third Sanofi has obtained in the European Union for the potential blockbuster drug and comes as the company awaits word about the pill's fate in the United States.  Sanofi on Oct. 26 submitted its full response to a request for extra information by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It could find out as early as Friday the health authority's time frame for a decision on marketing clearance for Acomplia, which could come either in two months or in six months. Acomplia is already sale in UK and gives better results. Sanofi has said it would communicate the FDA's decision on timing, which most analysts expect to be six months. The FDA has two to three weeks to react to additional drug information provided by a company.Acomplia became available by prescription in Sweden on Friday.The drug is already covered for reimbursement by health services in Denmark and Ireland following EU marketing approval, but it is still unclear if it will get similar treatment elsewhere.In Germany, health insurers have dismissed Acomplia as a "lifestyle" drug and are refusing reimbursement. Sanofi has said it would appeal if the Health Ministry followed the insurers' recommendation.

Low carb diets helps for weight loss

Hi friends, today i read a weight loss news in which it was suggested that for a weight loss low carb diet may be helpfull. A low carb diet helps prevent hyperinsulinemia (i.e., elevated insulin levels in the blood) and increases the level of glucagon, a pancreatic hormone that reverses the action of insulin, stabilizes blood sugar levels, and helps burn fat to energy and remove cholesterol deposits from arteries.

And because the body gets into the fat-burning mode, sustained weight and inch loss occurs, accompanied by lowered blood pressure, better lipid profile and raised energy levels.

Due to the consumption of fats and oils, the appetite and hunger pangs stay in control, because fatty foods are more satisfying and take longer to digest. And since limited amounts of complex carbohydrates do accompany the fats (obviously, the healthy types), the body metabolism does not switch to starvation mode. A vitamin–mineral supplement and a fiber supplement may be added if necessary.

Once the body chemistry is back to normal and the excess weight knocked off, complex carbohydrates and some vegetables/fruits can be added to the diet. But if one does not want to go back to the earlier state, one has to kiss goodbye the white bread, pastries, cakes, ice creams and things like that, except for an occasional binge.

The results after study showed that acomplia rimonabant also improved the patient HbA1c, HDL- cholesterol, triglycerides, systolic blood pressure and waist circumference. This news may also beneficial for obese patients who also suffer from diabetes. The results states that 50% of the improvements in HbA1c and HDL-cholesterol levels were independent of the weight loss achieved, indicating a direct effect of acomplia rimonabant on these parameters.

According to In Touch Weekly - Britney Spears has been indulging in a little retail therapy. Jeannette Walls cites the weekly magazine's upcoming issue and reports that the “Oops, I Did It Again” crooner celebrated dropping down to a size 6 by dropping nearly $10,000 on hot clothes in one hour at Barneys in Beverly Hills.

Spears specified sexy yet casual clothes - but no tracksuits, a staple of her post-pregnancy wardrobe, according to ITW, which reports that Spears loaded up on soft, clingy cashmere sweaters.

The Post Chronicle reports that Kevin Federline is writing an autobiography to help people understand who he is.  Britney Spears' husband says he is eager for people to learn about who he was before he hooked up with his famous wife.

He tells the New York Post, "The book is definite. It will be a biography of my life until I met my wife, so people will better understand who I am."

Although he is eager to tell his story, Federline admits he needs some help when it comes to actually writing the book.

He adds, "I haven't done it yet. You know, I'll get a ghostwriter in there."  Good idea.
