Four weight loss pills marketers fined for false claims
Hi friends, yesterday I read news related to weight loss marketers. The Federal Trade Commission has
fined the marketers of four weight loss drugs 25 million dollars for
making false advertising claims. According to the FTC these four weight loss pills are fails for proving their advertising claims like rapid weight loss to reduced
risk of osteoporosis, Alzheimer's and even cancer. The drugs whose get fined are Xenedrine EFX,ne a Day
Weight Smart, Cortislim and Trimspa. Deborah Smith Majoras, the FTC
Chairperson said that "But the claims aren't
supported by sound science,". The FTC largest fined on Xenedrine marketers of 13 million dollars. The Federal Trade Commission, says some of the
money paid by the marketers will be given back to customers who bought
the products. This news will have effect on America's weight loss marketers and also on Americans people who spend billion of dollars each year on these weight loss drugs. This step of FTC is the good work for those weight loss marketers who advertise false claims. Weight loss by natural methods like exercise, dieting , physical activities and fasting are helpful with no side effects.
