Dieting may fail to produce long term result in weight loss

@ 09:22 PM (19 months, 12 days ago)
Hi friends, last week I read an article related to weight loss and diet plan. According to a new research it was suggested that dieting may not be effective for weight loss in long term plan. According to a new research in American Psychologist it was suggested that about two-thirds of people trying to lose weight with a reduced-calorie diet will gain back that weight - plus some extra pounds - within four to five years. So finally the result was concluded that for a perfect weight loss plan in long term dieting is not so much effective. The weight loss experts and doctors said that
"We concluded most of them would have been better off not going on the diet at all," They also said. "Their weight would be pretty much the same, and their bodies would not suffer the wear and tear from losing weight and gaining it all back."  Traci Mann, The researcher and professor of psychology also said that “Although the weight gain can be partially attributed to the difficulty of adhering to the diet, there are also many adverse physiological effects of such caloric reduction.”

So if you want to loose weight fast and permanent, there is no better option than exercise and perfect diet plan. Mann also said that "Exercise may well be the key factor leading to sustained weight loss. Studies consistently find that people who reported the most exercise also had the most weight loss."
