Acomplia is a popular weight loss drug in UK market and it gives better results in weight loss for obese patients. But according to recent studies and their results that diet drug found to be some serious side effects like suicidal thinking and depression. These side effects aye very dangerous for a an obese patients. After their serious side effects are found European officials are likely to allow the drug to remain on the market but with stricter warning.

Weight loss surgery approved by FDA

Hi, There are basically to weight loss surgeries approved by FDA. The first surgery is gastric bypass, a procedure that limits the amount of food your stomach can hold and affects the body's absorption of calories and nutrients. And second weight loss surgery is Lap band surgery in which affects the size of the stomach simply by the placement of an inflatable band around the stomach, without altering the digestive process. These two types of surgeries are approved by FDA and now many obese patients have successful weight loss by these procedures.
